Development Process


For the 10 seconds prompt, we agreed on having a clicker game at the very beginning of our project because we feel like it's the easiest way for people to do fast reactions. Once we decided on the clicker mechanic, we talked about what theme we should have and we came up with the idea of stealing things, which in real life also has a time limitation on the behavior. Inspired by point-and-click adventure games, we decided to add in interactive furnitures such as the closet and the drawers to make it more fun for players to poke around. We made the alarm clock a thing that leads directly to the game over page (as if it would notify the owner of the room that some one is stealing) to add difficulty and a little bit narrative element.
