Playtest Notes:

First Test (Three Players)

  • Attack each other makes it more fun and competitive
  • Player that loses keeps one card
  • Player that wins picks one card they need from loser’s pile
  • Round 1:
    • Too overpowered if you have more cards
    • Changed that with stats so if your attack is greater but your defense is lower → lose defense 
    • Does the number of cards = who wins?

Second Test (Three Players)

  • Very predictable
  • Ways to be faster
  • Cant recover well if you die
    • Other people are always going to be stronger
    • Loser becomes the target
  • Make it simpler
    • Health tokens
    • Attack tokens
  • Attack and defense are the stats of the same thing → strength
  • Make stats easier to track
  • Little jewels to pick up
  • All you can do is just attack and defense if the main one that is targeted
  • More people
  • Speed → add it to attack or defense
    • Try without speed
  • Stat cards
    • How to make it harder for the player to get more stats when u have more stats
  • How to get defense back
  • Limited stats way to regenerate health - dice roll? Go back to center?
  • Teaming up an option
  • One way in one way out for bridges
  • Make people fight

Third Test (Six Players):

  • Fight when it is in the same space ONLY??
  • Chips for each point (stats only to 1-5)
  • BASE STATS: atk 1, def 1, speed 2??
  • Players with no cards are just done in the game (finding a way for them to get back into the game is important)
  • Once someone gets ahead they snowball --- lower speed
  • If you don’t pick up stats you can wander the board
  • Finding someway to heal --- Nullify
  • Stat go to trash pile
  • 3:1 ratio
  • Go around players?
  • Do you choose to attack when there are two
  • Two stat piles (good and back)
  • +1 for all stats
  • Everyone makes a move then you can attack

Fourth Test (Six Players):

  • Add how to start 
  • Card face up or down?
  • Illustrations on the board?
  • Add players can not be on the same space
  • Explain speed better 
  • Stat farming is a no
  • Have body part cards face down
  • alternative method to track stats
    • like poker chips 
  • take out circle in middle
  • when you die, your dead
  • ghost mode? 
  • when to do when player dies
  • negotiating or trading
  • teams?
